Soft, buttery sugar cookies with a hint of lemon, topped with creamy lemon frosting.

INGREDIENTS
COOKIE DOUGH
3/4 cup butter, softened
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 tsp lemon juice
1 Tbsp lemon zest
2 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
LEMON FROSTING
1/2 cup butter, softened
4 cups powdered sugar
1 dash salt
1 Tbsp lemon zest
2 Tbsp fresh lemon juice
1-2 Tbsp milk, if needed
INSTRUCTIONS
- Cream butter and sugar in a large mixing bowl. Beat in eggs, lemon juice, and lemon zest till well combined.
